The unit was quite small but very clean. There was an airconditioner in the bedroom, but the fans seemed to work fine and didn't need the airconditioner. We enjoyed the outdoor table with a view of the beach. Location was great. Only negative was the house smelled stuffy, even after we opened all the windows. Probably because it is very old.

What a fantastic spot to slide in and revel in sight of the ocean. You can hear the waves. You're in the second line of houses, giving you the just right distance from the fun but crazy Pacific/Mission Beach Boardwalk. The parking was a much appreciated perk. The bungalow itself had it's pros and cons. I loved the kitchen- it was just right. The dutch door got lots of use and enjoyment. The walls had a very interesting paneling of driftwood, perhaps real. I am mostly taken by the shower floor: pebbles! How cool and safe a surface is that. Concerns: it's expensive, even though I'm sure similar places were as much or more. Given that, it would seem that the toilet paper would have a holder. That the proffered beach toys and more would be operational. That there wouldn't be so many rules and chores expected from guests. though I acknowledge I'd be fine with that if it didn't cost as much as it does. Bottom line,brace yourself, cough up the bucks, and have the time of your life!
